Hello everyone! Happy Thanksgiving Day :)

I don't know exactly what forum should I post this in but pls feel free to move this to the correct forum ;)

Anyway, I am just confused with regards to my vaccination record. I never got any shots during my medical interview since I just finished my chemotherapy that time and the doctor says my immune system is not ready yet so I have to wait for at least 6 months to get all the vaccines they require and that was June...so this coming January I think I am ready to get those shots. My questions are: Where do i get those shots? Are there any particular hospitals or clinic that are accredited by the USCIS to give those shots or can I just get it from any clinic? When I get my vaccination, are they going to write something on my vaccination form that I got during my medical interview? Is there any deadline to when I need to complete my vaccination? When will the USCIS going to check my vaccination record? Am i asking too much? :D Sorry I just have no idea with regards to this matter.

Thanks for any info that you could share. ;)

Have a good one! :star:

You can have any vaccinations you need administered anywhere of your choosing.

If you have a CR1 visa, then your next involvement with the USCIS will be when you file the ROC. This doesn't require any medical examination (according to the VJ guide), so unless you received any specific instruction to get these vaccinations before you could file the ROC, you won't need to prove that you were vaccinated.

If you do have to get them to satisfy the USCIS, then you can take the record of your vaccinations to a Civil Surgeon, who is authorised by the USCIS to carry out a medical examination and transcribe your vaccination history onto the correct form. But again, to the best of my knowledge, proof of vaccination and medical examination is only necessary for AOS from a K1/3 or other tourist/ work/ student visa.

Timeline Summary:

K-1/K-2 NOA1 - POE: 9 February - 9 July 2010

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

ROC mailed - approved: 14 February - 18 June 2013

Citizenship mailed - ceremony: 9 February - 7 June 2017

Thank you very much for enlightening me about this matter.
