Vaccinations for I-693

My son-in-law went to the Civil Surgeon to get his remaining vaccinations done as well as having his I-693 filled out. They did the vaccinations but said he had to get some followup vaccinations done months in advance before they would fill out the I-693. I know this is wrong, what should we do - go to another civil surgeon? Also, he has no proof of the HIV test he had done in Egypt, will they make him re-do that here? It is in his packet they took at the POE. - He is here on a K-1 visa.

HIV testing wasn't a requirement for Claudeth. She got the MMR vaccination at the embassy and the CS did the tetanus shot. He wanted to do an exam but I showed him the date on the DS3025 when she had her last exam so we didn't get charged for that. He also wanted to do a chest xray so I showed him the one from her physical and saved another $35.

The CS staff filled out the I-693, made a copy for us and sealed the original in the envelope that we mailed in with the AOS application.

What kind of follow up vaccinations was the CS referring to?

If your son-in-law's medical is less than a year old, he does not need to have his bloodwork done (HIV and Syphillis) He just needs complete whatever vaccination he needs and have the CS transcribe his DS-3025 into his I-693. Nothing more than that.
