Hello to all,

I need a little help. Which option would be best between getting marry in Colombia and applying for the visa or applying for the K1 fiance visa and marrying in the States.

I want to know the best path since we would like to be together in the states in the less time possible.

Thank you for your help.

The K-1 is faster. For one thing you don't have to go to Columbia and get married. BUT the CR-1 may be better if you want her to work on arrival. K-1s cannot work or travel until they have a green card, AP or EAD and that can take 2-3 months after you are married and file for AOS. Read the guides and consider all the options
