Now that you have the petition down, start researching the next step. Look at the forms, review the documents required. Many of them (birth cert, vaccination records) should be located now, and if missing, acquired.

You could do some wedding planning - shop for dresses, pick out paper for your wedding invites, interview caterers or tour venues. As this is the same time if year you want to get married, any outdoor venues should be toured in the next few weeks - what sort of decorations do they have up (if any) for T-day/fall/holiday season? I toured our venue about the same number of weeks on the winter side of the equinox so I could watch how the sunset played out - just as it would play out on our wedding day.
