When I visited the Ph I paid airport fee 7 or 8 hundred pesos at my departure. It seems that there is a higher

fee for Ph nationals leaving the country. A web search told me that this higher fee is "usually" included in the

air fare. Anyone around that has recently departed the Philippines who has experience with this?

Just trying to figure out what she will have to pay.

Thanks in advance for any heip!

So many of us...in this together. Pretty cool!

You really have to pay the departure fee at about that amount(7-800). Also tell ur fiancee if she will pay the travel tax to tell the person on the desk that she is not working here so she will only have to pay P400.00 instead of the P1,600. Me and my 2 month old son only paid 800 for two instead of P3,200.

As previously mentioned, the terminal fee is 750 that everyone pays, but check your receipt because Philippine Travel Tax is sometimes already included like it was on my fiancee's when flying continental and purchasing the ticket online.

Just to reiterate, check your airline receipt because if you did not pay the tax, you will need to exit the check-in line, go to the airport tax counter, pay, and go back to the check-in counter.

Next you pay the 750 before proceeding to immigration/departure and thru security check point #2.

Now if you have a little extra PHP left over and want to spend it on something before your flight, be aware that if you purchase bottled water (I prefer to have my own bottle of water on flights) once inside the terminal, you will not be able to take it beyond security checkpoint #3 and into the waiting area to the plane.
