My fiance sent back his check list a month ago yesterday to the Embassy in London. He has all his documents ready. I am just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes them to process things? He has called them (a week ago) but nothing in their system yet. We are trying to be patient. If any one has any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have looked all over the net to try to find an answer. I'll keep you posted if we hear anything. How long ago did you submit paperwork to them?

So you have called DOS and spoken to a live person and they are saying your paperwork has not been received yet, or what are they saying?

Was your packet 3 sent special delivery where you can see via the postal website that it arrived at the embassy? I know there have been postal strikes, so a slow delivery is possible.

If another week goes by and DOS is still saying they don't have the paperwork, I would be tempted to resend it (special delivery).

my fiance called the embassy and spoke to a live person "nothing in their system". He did send it special delivery so he knows they have the package.

I appreciate everyones help! I'm the "paperwork" person in this relationship so its a bit hard for me to have no control at this point.

I mailed our DS-230 before I mailed in our checklist so I'm not sure if that sped things up any. I sent the DS-230 early Sept 7th and then sent in the checklist Oct 12th. We recieved our interview letter Nov 6th so for us it took around 3.5wks to get the interview letter back. But like I said I don't know if that time was affected by having sent the DS-230 in so much earlier.

Good luck with the waiting it is tough.

I sent my P3 on Oct 20 and it ws delivered Oct 21 by special delivery. London did not "log"it until Nov 4th. Then I became "eligible for interview" on Nov 9th. On fri 13th, my interview date was scheduled for Dec 1st. All this I found out by calling DOS.

There are quite a few of us in the same boat and it's been an ongoing discussion in the UK forum....on Fri there were a number of interviews scheduled but there are still those who are waiting.

Hopefully now that London has begun scheduling again yours and everyone else who's waiting will be scheduled soon.

We sent our packet in on November 6th, and the documents were logged on today, the 17th. Hopefully this means an interview very soon.
