Hi guys!

my fiancee's dad will be my co-sponsor. He is self-employed and makes $80.000 (line 22 form 1040).

I will provide his income tax return (2008) to the I-134 form.

I can not include monthly pay stubs from this year cause he is a truck driver and gets paid by checks from different clients after he gets a job done.

What kind of document do I have to provide in order to prove his income from the year 2009?

Do I even need any additional documents to provide? Or is his income tax return from 2008 enough?

thanks,

Markus

For a self employed person, I would recommend three years of tax returns to show some history (it is NOT necessary that he met the guidelines all three years) and a bank latter stating deposits in the last 12 months OR copies of last 12 months personal bank statements.

His income tax return is fine, but you need to show he has current income also.
