My husband and I got married over Labor Day weekend and are finishing up his AOS packet to submit early next week. He has a TN-1 status that has been renewed every year for the past 8 years through the same employer. My questions are:

1. Do we need to submit proof that he's had TN-1 Status for 8 years? We have his documentation for this year in his passport that we will copy and include but I'm not sure he has his documentation for previous years.

2. Do we need to include a letter from his employer stating that they have sponsored his TN-1 status for the past 8 years and that he is employed in good status with the company? If so, does anyone have a sample letter that we can use?

3. If his TN-1 status expires before he receives his EAD, will he be allowed to continue to work?

Thanks!
