Hi, well I just filed for AOS(well my wife did technically), and I'm just wondering if there is anything on this site, or elsewhere that could help us in preparation for the AOS Interview. Maybe a list of what to bring. I know that there are some things we need to get in line for proof of relationship(or proof of genuine marriage)....really not sure what all I'll want to bring though. Should I bring basically a secondary I-485 packet....I-129F paperworks....or anything like that....Also, just a list of evidences would be great. I imagine we'll be getting something when we have the biometrics....maybe proof of having that...or the fingerprints themselves. Just trying to get ready for what to expect next. It seems that each time I go through a next step, I am never prepared enough for what I have to face. Just very stressful, so trying to get a headstart on the interview, though we haven't even been sent a confirmation or anything like that yet....oh and about that...will I be getting a receipt/case # for the I-485 so that I can follow the case status online? Thanks for your help. God bless

no need to be stressed out. the AOS interview is basically one where you will be asked what has happened since you got married (did you really get married, show your proofs/evidence; what other things have happened since? any babies now? are you still sharing/living in the same house; are you sharing accounts, bills; did you go on vacation? etc)

so...what to bring? marriage cert, BC of new baby, new pics (since you got married), bills, new account statements, new bank statements (showing you and your spouse share the payments etc) and all other evidence that your marriage is still intact and going strong (still based on good faith)

so just bring as many evidences as you can and pray that the interviewer finds that you did well too on the paperwork wyou submitted.

good luck and god bless!
