Hey guys i just received my interview letter for Dec 10th. On the letter it says bring the following:

'.. and custody papers for all your children and spouses children not living with you'

I have a 5 yr old back in Australia and i don't have custody papers? Is that going to be a problem? Also, when i filed the forms i didn't file for her to be here with me because I wanted everything to be settled here first (get approved, get a stable job, bigger apartment etc) before i file an AOS for her. Is that going to be an issue too ?

Im so nervous about the interview..

Filed: Citizen (pnd) Country: Mexico

well if the letter says that you should bring it, you should bring it unless you have a good reason of why you don't have them. I'd advise to try and get those papers, if an item is listed it means is important enough for them; they may not ask to see it, but it's better have it with you.

I don't think that's going to be a problem, if they ask for the reason why you didn't file for her just tell them what you just posted here...the truth.
