Our K-3 application is finally at the Embassy in Bangkok and I am a little worried about the medical check which right now is scheduled next week, my wife was pregnant with twins and lost them about a month ago and has had a really rough time dealing with it and it is at the point she was prescribed a lot of medicine to deal with the depression. I have been back to see her since and head back tomorrow so we can spend time together and get her medication figured out, going to stay as long as it takes to make sure she is doing better and all of our packet 3 info is ready. Should I stress out that she might not pass the medical? Not worried about any other part of the process, have been there 9 times for a total of 24 weeks this year already just this year and have plenty of income, pics, call logs, etc, and everything else. Anyone know if they have set criteria for mental health when they do the medical or if she is doing ok and in active treatment ant I have it set up for it to continue when she gets here are we probably ok? She is covered under my insurance which has very good coverage and have enough to pay directly for anything else that she will need to recover.

Just need something to worry myself sick about since I don't have USCIS to deal with anymore! Till her AOS at least, we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Doesn't look like you are getting any responses here, so I'll move this from K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures to U.S. Embassy and Consulate Discussion since this deals with a medical exam.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Although it may be better for a woman to respond to this, I think that depression following a miscarriage of twins would be regarded on the

medical exam as very normal and the fact that medication was prescribed for it would not be a red flag for the visa process.

Drug abuse yes, miscarriage definitely not.

Again, I mentioned your profile says K-1 and you clearly say in your post you have a K-3 in progress (update please).
