HELP...Geeting inpatient

Hello everyone...I'm new to this "community" and just going through some of the topics they seem very helpful. Well we sent in our I-751 ROC on July 20, 2009. It was recieved at CSC on the 22nd. My husband went in for his biometrics appointment on August 21 and since then we have recieved nothing else in the mail or through the website. There have been no updates since then and we are a little impatient especially since we see that others that applied around the same time as us have been approved and have recieved their ten year GC. I have called and all I get is the representative on the phone to basically read to me word for word what is on-line. I would schedule an InfoPass but my husband is in Alaska due to work. Is it possible to assist to an InfoPass without him? I would really appreciate any feedback we can get and also ask to have someone add my dates to the lists. Thank you so much. I also would like to add that his GC has already expired and we are going out of the country for Christmas, should we be confident that it is ok to travel with just the NOA letter which grants him a 1 year extension and will they gove him ####### when he does fly back in?
