Our interview is scheduled one week before our wedding. The interview is too close to our wedding date, and we do not want to risk going to the interview and not getting the approved visa back before our wedding. We think the best solution is to postpone the interview. What is the postponment procedure? Any other ideas?

BTW...if we postpone the interview, we will not officially get married at our wedding. We do not want to lose all the work weve done to get the fiancee visa. We will just have a wedding day, and then go to the courthouse once approved to complete the fiancee visa :)

How do you postpone?

You call or email MTL and postpone it.

Be aware that she will have to go back to Canada, and wait for several months once more for the interview. If you have no worries about denial, as in you have all your papers in order, she should be fine. I would NOT schedule an interview if I had "nothing to fear" kind of thing.
