Dear All

Thanks very much for the advice so far. Everything is going well my fiance has his K1 visa and is planning to enter the country in September from the UK. Unfortunately his UK passport expires on February 2007. Is there any problem with him renewing the passport before he arrives in the US. Even though hes already been granted a K1. Thanks very much for your time and assistance.

If he has a visa then as part of getting a visa he had to have at least 6 months on his current passport?

I am not sure of the implications but since the passport is good until Feb 2007, I wouldnt mess with it now. Once in the US and married, and applying for AOS is when I would get a new one. You can get new passport by contacting UK embassy/consulate when living in the US.
