Hey.. Congrats on getting through the visa process! And welcome to California!! I hope you guys enjoy it here.... Yeah...echo what's been said about Mira Mesa having some filipino stuff. But I think National City has a lot more Filipino choices (but that area of town can be a little dangerous as well)....but it does have tons of filipino restaurants and shopping centers and lots of filipinos everywhere.... My favorte restaurant there is Tita's. I'm going to Cebu, again...in January to visit my girl. I'm sure once she's here she'll be needing some friends too.....

Carlsbad is nice...about 20 miles north of San Diego and you guys have Legoland!!. I live in east San Diego, in Tierrasanta....also a nice part of town.
