I'm living in the Philippines, and I'm involved with someone I'm going to marry in two or three years (L) . At that time, he and I want to go to the states and get married, and then return here. Due to the nature of my work, I cannot leave and spend 6 to 9 months in the States submitting paperwork...so what am I supposed to do?

Also, since we're not planning on living in the States, does he still need to worry about all the other stuff like residence and all that?

I'M CONFUSED!!!! SOMEONE :help: !!!

Cinnamongirl,

The visa you want is a B2.

Under normal circumstances these can be difficult for a Fillipina to get, but being married to a USC who can demonstrate that they are committed to living in the Philippines should make that a non-problem.
