I was told by e-mail that Kiev has received my case. The e-mal was sent by the consular office in Kiev. However, when I called to make the appointment they are telling me that they have no record of my case. Also I was told that right now once the case is in the system is taking approximatly 4 weeks to get an appointment.

The call center is in Warsaw, Poland. Kiev does not upload till Friday so you should be able to call Monday and get appointment. About a month sounds right for now! :star:

Here is a copy/paste from a recent post I made to a similar inquiry:

On 23 September we verified by phone from NVC that the case was sent to Kiev. We tried the call center (for appointment) on 30 Sept and the case was not in the system. We called on 5 October and were given an interview date of 21 October.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Correct.

Call Monday morning (Sunday night our time, and Ukraine will change their clocks this weekend to end daylight savings time). If it is not in the system, it won't be until the next Monday morning. It is easier (in my experience) to get through to the call center if you call at 8-9am Kiev time. The call center operates on Kiev time even though they are in Poland. It can take 2-3 weeks after arrival in Kiev to get "in the system" and the call center cannot make an appointment until it is. They were running just a few days for interviews but now it seems to be taking a bit longer. Still, one of the fastest consulates for interviews. I do not know if they are busy or if they have further cut back days for interviews. The lead time for interviews is on the consualte website but this is "rough"

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
