My finance' interview is on November 3rd and they couldn't fit him in for a medical until the 5th. He has decided to make a mini trip out of it with a friend of his and was trying to find a good inexpensive place for them to stay for 4 or 5 days. Any ideas? I tried searching this forum but only found Marble Arch Inn. Any help is appreciated.

Depends how much they want to spend. If he doesn't mind a short tube journey to the Embassy google hotels in either Earls Court or Paddington. Tend to have the more reasonable rates in those areas.

Paddington is easy tube to Marble Arch and 5 - 10 minute stroll to the Embassy.

Travelodge is usually an inexpensive but clean place to stay. Havent used them myself in a few years so no idea what it costs, I believe they have a website where you can find out the price.
