How do you get notified of Interview Date for CP?

I have been searching for the answer in people's timeline. Usually, everyone just list when their interview date is. I am wondering how do you get notified of the interview date by NVC. Also, usually how long after the case is completed at NVC the notification is sent out?

I would really appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

Normally 4 business days after NVC Case Complete.

Notification comes by email.

Well we ARE past 4 business days but they changed my Case Complete date! It changed from the 16th to the 21st.

The agent said that some documents had arrived and were entered onto the system, as such we are now looking at the 27th.

If you need a list of things that could possibly go wrong with your application just ask me!

We are now on 6 months since submitting I-130.

In your other post, I thought I read the NVC CSR assured you that the new case complete date won't delay the interview date. My father's case complete date is also Oct 16 and I checked this morning, and it is still Oct 16 - but no interview date yet.

I was assured it would make no difference..... who knows?

NVC usually issues interview dates during the first 2weeks of each month. So the next lot of interview dates will be given out next week. I have seen a few people who have got their interview date issued to them in the last week of the month but for most people it is the first 2 weeks of each month.

I just called the NVC and gained the following information:

The interview quota for November is full due to limited capacity at the US Embassy in London.

As such your interview will be allocated during the first two weeks of November for interviews taking place in December 2009.

That is the most concrete piece of news I have had for months.

Richard that is the same thing that I was told for my Parents back at the end of May, "no interviews left for June but you will get one for July" ... I had the email with the interview date 4 days later...

Spoke to an operator and she said the scheduling for this month is done, and I will have to wait until the second week of next month to be scheduled for an interview in December
