G325A Form

Hi -

I had a quick question regarding the G325A form. Do I need to fill out every move? I'm asking because I went to school for 4 years so I was in a dorm, then home, then back at a different dorm, etc... do I need to fill out each row or is there an easier way to imply that I was at school for 4 years?

Hi Vincent,

I was under the same situation you are in. In filling out the residence section, I pretty much put down my permanent residence, where my parents live (and where I would go home every weekend). I don't think it matters much if you went to school, or what dorm you lived in.

Also, under the employment section, I also went ahead and listed my work study jobs as employment.

Thanks for the quick response ucla_cutie. Do you mean you left out the school altogether? Do you think it would be ok if I wrote the various dorms, but also included my permanent address as an overlapping period for housing?

Yes, I did leave out the school information. I mean, I didn't want to confuse their little minds, cause it seems they get confused easily . I mean it all depends on you and how you want to list your residence for the last 5 years. If you want to go ahead and list the dorm address for the school year (for example: September 2001 through June 2002 in so and so dorm, and then June 2002 through September 2002 at home address). It is all entirely up to you on how you want to list your last addresses. In my opinion, I thought it was best to simply put down my parent's address considering it was my permanent address. I just wanted to keep it short and simple. I went to school about 26 miles from my home so it wasn't incredibly far, and I did go home quite often.

I moved several time during the 5 yr period for several reasons .. school / work ect ect .. It asks for all address info for 5 years it does not ask you to just leave them out .. I used my parents address for important mail for most of that 5 years but i still told them everywhere i had actually lived ( why would they ask if they didn't want to know ) I had to attatch a separate sheet .. @ any rate i would sudgest you give them what they are asking for and not the easier version
