I am trying to find, and have had no luck any information about filing a k1 visa for a fiance who is a citizen of one country but living and working in another. specifically will my fiance need to return to her country of origin during the application process or can she remain in the country she is working in and we can file though the appropriate consulate office. any help will be greatly appreciated.

she will have interview where ever she has legal residency.

Thank you.

If i understand correctly if she is legally residing in another country under a workers visa she will interview in that country and not have to return to her home country>

Yep! I used to work in Singapore and I had an interview and flew from Singapore to Texas :)

Yes, she can arrange to have the interview in the country she is working...BUT she will still need to meet the requirements of the Philippine embassy, CENOMAR, NBI, police certificates etc...
