Hi the Frenchies!

I have posted a similar topic in the Consulate section of this forum, but I am hoping to get a more specific response here.

From the ones who have had their interview in Paris, did you present originals of tax transcripts or copies?

Also, how long is the wait approx. between the time you submit the package 3 et the time of the interview?!

Merci beaucoup.

Hi,

My fiance is scheduled for interview on 11/19. I am not sure what constitutes original tax transcripts. When I (petitioner) went to my local IRS office to ask for tax transcripts, they gave me print outs and that's what I forwarded to my fiance along with the Affidavit form (and other proofs).

My fiance sent his packet 3 on 10/2 and he received his packet 4 (appointment letter and all) on 10/29.

I am gonna reply to my own thread.

The consulate didnt care about the tax transcripts and paystubs. They only took the employment letter and bank letter for my fiancé.

So I guess that for France it doesnt really matter about copies or originals when it comes to tax transcripts and paystubs. The lady however checked that bank and employment letters were originals and notorized.

All forms should also be originals.
