Hi, my aunt(US citizen) applied for i-130 for my father back in like 2001 or something, I was under 18 at the time when she applied and was under child dependent on the application.

Last week, we got an email saying our i-130 was approved, however, 2 weeks ago, I turned 21. Am i still eligible to continue filing to get my permanent residency?

Since the i-130 was approved for my father, how long(average time) til he can get his green card?

next step is to file for aos right?

we are both in the country at the moment, hence with expired visas.

thank you in advanced

My uncle been petitioned by his brother and it got approved too. All his kids are beneficiaries, though the 1st & 2nd son age out when they got approved in time. So my 2 cousins never got into medical and interview, because they are age out. The kids that are only under 18 got their visa stamp on their passport. They arrived in the Hawaii last August and got their Greencard in the mailbox like 4-6 weeks after they arrived in the US.

That's all I could share, in your case being in the US and in an expired visa's... I don't know what is the condition into that. Goodluck! (F)
