Hello, I am posting in the wrong place please let me know.

After reading here on VJ we have decided NOT to use a lawyer. We feel we can file the application for far less money and much less time.

Gerhard visited me and my family in Sept from England and stayed a week, everything was absolutely wonderful. He has now gone back to England and I am beginning the I-129F application. I am sure we will have many questions and would appreciate any help from all of you here on VJ. We have read the guides but as all of you know sometimes we still have questions.

Thanks so much for comment left when we first commented here on the this site.

All the best with your journey. Jen and I didn't even consider the lawyer route as this site is filled with useful information, tips and advice. That I have the visa now in my possession is a testament to what you read and learn from VJ.

I was going to use a lawyer before i found this site and decided to save the money i would spend on the wedding. So far, with the help of VJ, i have my NOA2 and am expecting packet 3 any time. As long as you have a bit of patience and you check everything over before sending it off to the relevant people i am sure you will be fine!

Good luck

My advice, dont get a lawyer. We were going to but decided to save the money we would have spent on the wedding instead and now we have our NOA2 and did all of it on our own.

Make use of VJ, check your documents a hundred times if needs be before sending them off and have a little patience!

Good luck and i hope it all works out for you
