My husband and I started this immigration process last year, we already have our I-130 approved and sent the choice of agent and waiting to send the affidavit of support next. Has anyone here been thru the process in Nicaragua and can give a little but of info on how things are working there? Where did you do the medical and are you able to submit the waiver the day of the interview? Thank you.

We did the K-1 and we had a great experience with the Embassy in Nicaragua. You can email the embassy and ask questions about your situation. You can find the email on their website. They will give you a list of doctors you can use for the medical once your interview is scheduled. Good Luck!

I'm just starting out and will be getting married in Nicaragua next month. Can you tell me the correct way to marry there so that the marriage certificate will be accepted as part of my I-130 application? Thank-you
