Keep telling yourself that. The comfort won't last long though.. maybe a year.

Are you channeling Michelle Bachmann?

Bachmann's GOP Strategerie

You may not even believe it when you see it in 2010. You're that far gone.

This is a HUGE victory for health care reform. All quiet on the Right Wing Front?

Name a huge government program that has come in under budget (modern times).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

A victory? It's a friggin disaster.

Costs a ton of money and doesn't even cover everyone?

As for "reducing federal deficits", a reduced deficit is still a deficit! Wake me up

when the bill "increases federal surpluses".

May I suggest a cryogenic facility? Without it, the odds of you ever waking up are virtually nil.

Just stay away from Alcor. They'll use your frozen head as a soccer ball.

While I agree it is "Choice" it is not "competition".

When John Q Citizen buys insurance at BCBS, He pays for it.

When John Q Citizen "gets' insurance at Public option, He might or might not have to pay for it.....

which means other people must pay for all those who don't.

How can my business compete against another business who "by design" is going to loose money?

It's like the "wal-mart effect" x 10.

Why should health care be a business? Would the military and schools be a business too? Would you accept 1/100th of the practices of the private health care industry in the military? if troops were being ambushed yet called for support but where told the is a pre-existing fight, so your policy does not cover airlifting? You would say that is ridiculous. Damn straight it's ridiculous. Why should it be acceptable when dealing with the lives of people?

You must have missed the thread I created about my own recent insurance experience.

That's because Steven and his kind want to keep the veil of Kapitalism, despite really wanting to do what is right, and turn the whole healthcare system over to the government. Weak as water!
