I just received our notic of approval NOA2 on my email last night, how long will it take to get threw NVC and what do they do with it? More background checks? How long is it been taking to get to the interview date? as her boy will be turning 21 in April, as I understand they will do additional background check after the interview because she is a member of the CCP because of her job.

usually takes a few days to get passed NVC, if you are stuck in AP at NVC then you are looking a few months, after NVC it takes about 2-3 months to get an interview. you should study more about CCP and deal with it, don't just expect AP after interview...
