YARDIES or Anyone ..Need co-sponsor HELP!

YARDIES IMPORTANT I NEED YOUR HELP !!! My brother was suppose to be my co-sponosr but his employer said that they CAN'T provide him with an employment letter..so the only other person i can ask is my dad but he's self-employed ! DO YOU THINK I CAN USE HIM AND BE OKAY ?? WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A SELF EMPLOYED CO-SPONSOR ??? i'm feeling so stressed right now..

** 5/12/2009- I29F Received @ VSC

** 5/13/2009- NOA1 Mailed

** 5/14/2009- Check Cashed

** 5/21/2009- NOA1 Received by Mail

** 9/11/2009- NOA2 via Email * Approved*

** 9/15/2009 - NVC Recieved/ KNG Case # assigned

** 9/18/2009 - Case left NVC for Kingston

** 9/18/2009- Kingston Recieved Case

I don't think your brother has to get this from his HR department. I have read in other forums where people have typed their own letters and got their boss to simply sign the letter. The employment letter does not necessarily hold alot of weight because you have to include bank statements, check stubs and W2's. These should all prove his employment.

If your dad is self-employed, I think he has to provide information about his company rating such as Dun and Bradstreet ratings. But I'm not completely sure. I read that you can also show assets such houses, land, savings accts and stocks and bonds. But they only count 1/5th of the value. I hope everything works out for you.

Heaven your brother does not need a letter from his employer he just needs to submit his most recent pay stubs ( they recommend 6 unless he had a raise recently and want to send more) and 1040+W2( for 2008) +tax transcripts (past three years) from IRS :thumbs::thumbs:

Iam self employed and did not provide a letter from my vendors(whom i receive work from) The ONLY thing I gave them was last years tax return.They did not even ask for my bank statements, paycheck stubs or investment statements.Although I did have them readily available!!

Case arrived in Kingston August 26

Have not recieved a packet 3 but being

pro active and sent the DS 230pt1

DS 230 Pt1 sent via Tara Courier Sighned for by E. Morgan 09/03/2009

E-mailed Kingston 09/08/2009 to confirm it has been received

E mail Received Back 09/09/2009 Saying the following:

Good day,

An appointment letter was mailed out to the applicant on September 8th 2009 to the address that we have on file. The applicant should be receiving the letter soon.

Interview September 24,2009 @ 9:30am APPROVED!
