Hi,

I had a biometrics appointment tomorrow here in Calif. I just wanna ask how long should i need to stay to go for fingerprinting from their office? Because i just going to ride a taxi to go there,then as long as i know i couldnt bring my phone and also can i bring my child because no one can take care of her?what should i need to bring? do they will interview me?

pls advice, thank you much

it depends on how many people will be in line that day, but the fingerprinting itself is very quick, just around 10 minutes.

there is no interview, not a formal or long one anyway.

you can bring your phone, just don't turn it on when you get in, i guess.

yes, you can bring your child.

bring your biometrics appointment letter among other things (bring your passport just in case)

read the instructions on your appointment letter to be sure.

You will go there before your appointment time...you jst need an ID or passport to show in the guard...you ask where is that room...coz it is stated in the appointment letter what room to go...once ur inside, you will go immediately to the counter with ur passport or ID and appointment letter...they will give a form to fill-up and wait for ur name to be called...read the instructions in the appointment letter, things needed are there...

About the baby, I guess you can bring...during fingerprinting, you can put him/her in a stroller...

thanks you guys for the reply.i appreciate it. i am glad to hear i could bring my phone and my baby. well,i will make a taxi reservation today and let it to wait me tomorrow till im done. yeah it costs a lot of money for him to wait but i had no choice. i cant leave my baby to somebody else right now,since my husband passed away,dont know who can lean on.
