Hi can anyway please offer some advice. I have moved from the UK to France in the last few weeks, but have got assigned London as my embassy. It is not a problem to travel back for the interviews etc.

I am just worried that my address is France now, so would I have to change embassy. It is also no problem to use my old UK address on the forms, as my friend still lives there, so can forward me all the packet 3 and 4 no problem.

Has anyway got any advice, as we are worrying about this a lot now! Thanks

My fiancee was made redundant at his job while we were waiting for approval so he went to France to stay with his parents. It was no problem at all for him to go back to the UK for his physical and interview. He had a friend forward his mail, and even had them open it and call him if it was from the embassy. It may have made our wait just a few days longer because of the added time mailing things, but that is the only thing I can think of that was different.

Thank you so much. That really helps. The other bit that I am worried about is that on the Police Certificate form it ask for current address. So I am going to have to put my French one. Does this come up on the form? Will this be a problem? Just wondering why this process is so so long! lol
