hi guys, got question , not really concerns me but friend of my bro's ; friend's bro has an american bf , they have a kid who is not yet a year old, now the filipina girlfriend or the american bf i guess wants to get a US passport for the child , what should she do? think she went to the US embassy in Manila and was told to get some sort of a registration ? anyone else would like to give some suggestions or comments specially those who have the same rsituation as her ? would really appreciate it guys. Thank you.

She has to file a CRBA [Consular Report of Birth Abroad] at the USEM.

:thumbs: Yep. Been there done that. It's really no big deal. Why do you ask? Do you just want to tell your brothers friend the procedure or is there some reason for concern?
