PLS HELP!!!incorrect info on #30 of DS230

Hi Sis,

We already sent everything to NVC but my husband called last Friday and found out the info i wrote on DS320 part I, #30 was incorrect--it was the address since I was 16 years old. Today we received a letter from NVC about it. It also includes the police certificate.

I am just confused.

I lived on my hometown ( Tagum City , Davao) till 2005 since 1983, then I moved to Muntinlupa City, February of 2005, then last June I moved in here, in my in-laws place in Pampanga. I am sure I put them correctly on the form.

My question is: DO I NEED TO SEND NVC 3 POLICE CERTIFICATES FROM THE PLACES I HAD LIVED? I only sent them the one I got in Pampanga and of course the NBI clearance. I am just really confused because I could not just go to Tagum City just to get a police certificate. It is just a waste of money, plane tickets for a certificate that costs only a hundred peso or more.

Or can I just submit one from Muntinlupa? since it is just 4 hours of travel from here?

Pls I need advice ASAP from those who have similar situation as mine.

Thank you so much!!

ohhkay...

In my case I have lived in 3 different town and cities as well. But what I have submitted to the NVC was the police clearance from the city I am recently residing plus my NBI clearance.

Be very careful on putting infos in DS230.. And if you need to add an additional sheet just so you can give all the infos, please do so. And don't sign the Part II.

Hi Sis,

Thank you. Actually, like I said, I submitted the police clearance I have from Pampanga since I live here now. I am already 30 now so that means I was 16 when i still lived in my home town ( Tagum City).

It is really confusing because I know I wrote the info correctly on #30.

I hope others would also reply so I would have a lot of advice concerning this matter. Thank you luvtechwifey.

I think the best thing to do for now, is you call NVC and ask the operator what do they really mean on that. The operator can give you a direct answer on that. I always love bugging the operators so they can do their jobs.

hi kapatid. ang ginawa ko isang NBI clearance lang at isang Police Clearance (from where ka ngayon nakatira). yun lang :) wala naman naging problema :) unless tumira ka sa ibang bansa for more than 6 months after ka naging 16 years old, yun kelangan ng police clearance from that country.
