Co-Sponsor Income Tax question

Uh-oh... I have ANOTHER co-sponsor income tax question!

My mother-in-law just sent us her filled-out I-864, and copies of her past three years' of income tax returns...

My question is, on the I-864, question #25, it asks the co-sponsor to list their total income as reported on their federal tax returns for the three most recent years...

As I've mentioned above, my co-sponsor files joint returns with her husband (my father-in-law)...

Does she put JUST HER OWN income, or the total income (that would be from both her and her husband) listed on their returns...?

If anyone out there knows, I'd appreciate the help!

It's getting close to my interview date and I want to make sure if she needs to re-fill this page out that I get it in time!

Just her income, she is the only joint sponsor - actually that was my first answer in this thread - proceed back to page 1 missy

Duh.

I am so sorry -- you're absolutely right:-)

I KNOW...I just keep second guessing myself!!

I told her to put just HER income and she ended up putting the total on their returns, which includes my father-in-law's income...ARRRGH...

So I guess she'll have to re-fill out that page and send it to us... ~Sigh~

(at least I noticed with enough time to do this I guess:-))
