:secret: Ok. So my status is: "On July 11 the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person whom issued." So today I called the NCSC to find out what this means and I was told I was approved. Then I was put on hold and transferred to another person who told me the first person was wrong....I am not approved. I then asked what is the meaning of my status and was told they were going to mail me an RFE but then they decided not to and that is what changed my status. (they already had my RFE since July 3). I hope someone, anyone, gets approved soon. The last time I was touched was July 12.

Barry - just wondering if you have received anything yet. My "document they made" has not arrived and was supposedly mailed on July 8th.

Has anyone received their "document"?

I have re-edited my timeline, I no longer consider that this means approval.

No document for me either. I am surprised not to see Noa2's by now. I called and all they said was to wait 30 days and see if the document comes. I am just going to give it more time before I get upset. Since no one is getting approved then I know everything is ok with my petition for now. The ball is in their court, but if I see March and May approvals without mine then I will worry.

I am ready to go postal:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on July 8, 2006. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I have NOT changed my address or moved! They were able to get their RFE to me, but apparently they put the wrong address on this one.

I called the CSC, they were unable to tell me what document they have been trying to send me or what address they sent it to.

They will resend and if I have not received it in ANOTHER 30 DAYS to call them back.

Was the RFE you did get the IMBRA RFE?

I would not accept that answer from them. Call to update your address as it told you to do on the notice. If you do not do that they will not resend your RFE and at a certain time your petition will be cancelled because of lack of response!!!! Also ask the person you talk to what is the current address they show for you, they can do that with no problem. Dont accept them telling you, sorry I dont have that info!!!!

In this case I would call my Senator. Waiting 30 days is just a standard response and 30 days from now you will probably be in the same place. They told me to call back in 30 days from the date of my status. Was your date July 8? Maybe I should call about my stutus even though I sent back my RFE too.

Yes, I have already received and returned the IMBRA RFE. I had no "prior histories" and they acknowledged receipt.

Now they are sending me some other document, but when I called, no one could tell me what it was or where it was sent. I have not moved or changed address. I did give them my address again.

They are now resending whatever it is. When I requested that they overnight it to me and that I would pay the postage, they said they could not do that. AND if I have not received anything in ANOTHER 30 DAYS, I should call them back.

The person I talked to was obviously clueless and reading prefabed answers to my questions. When I asked to speak with someone else, they said there was no one else who would have any additional information.
