Hello all,

Is it appropriate to submit photos of the wedding, of couple in general, and letters/wedding invitations for "any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union"? Or should I only include affidavits/license??

THANKS!

Wedding stuff is fine to submit to show that your relationship is genuine (i.e. bona fides), but it is not actually germane to whether the martial union is ongoing. You need things to show that after the wedding day, you stayed and are currently living as a married couple (obviously, I don't mean "living together"). Lots of examples are elsewhere on this site but things like current life insurance policies naming the spouse as beneficiary, phone records, and travel records a la I-129F are also other documentation.

Yea, I wish we had a bank account-insurance policy, etc...unfortunately nothing like that. We do have 4-5 affidavits and are able to get more. We also have a lot of letters/drawings, but were written/made before we were wed...

I'll gather some post wedding photos...

Thanks so much for your help!!

I love this website...
