Ok folks here is my problem. My husband is waiting for his disability which is just applied couple months ago. He stop working more than a year ago and ive been taking care of everything ever since . My 2 years GC will soon expire in Nov 20. Im supposed to file anytime in August but we've been struggle with the fee since I am the only one who is working in the house. So is it ok if i file for my removal paper before my 2 years GC expiration date? Because I am still trying to get the rest of the fee to pay. I saw some people here filed for fee waiver resquested and none of em got approve. Any idea would help. Thanks alot

As long as USCIS receives your I-751 submission before Nov 20, you are OK.

As far as waiver goes, most people who talk about waiver here are talking about waiver for requirement of joint filing, not fee wavier. But such fee waiver may exist - calling USCIS (1-800 375-5283) would perhaps be a good idea.

June'07 NOA2 per USCIS website!
