I live in the most liberal town imaginable. No criminal offense if you're carrying less than an ounce type liberal and yet the school system refused to air his speech to the kids today. Un flippin believable.

Interesting. I live in a very conservative area, but we showed it in all our schools, elementary through high school. Teachers were told if they thought it would compliment their courses, or if they just felt it would be helpful, they could show it, and then it was made available in the library at my school for those who had lunch at that time. Of course, most conservative parents don't send their kids to public schools here. I don't know if it was shown at the private schools or parochial schools.

I don't have a class at that time, so I didn't show it, but I asked my students if they were going to watch it last night after school. I was shocked that they said they don't trust Obama anymore. About 80% of my students are African American boys. I really wanted them to see the speech.
