DS-3032 Submission

Good morning all

I found out from the NVC it was the DS-3032 hardcopies we mailed that were processed rather than the emails sent a week earlier.

We actually completed the DS-3032's, scanned the documents and emailed to my daughter in Florida. She sent them USPS overnight to the NVC and they were processed a couple of days later.

We were concerned about sending in what was effectively a photocopy but it was accepted.

We also sent in the actual hardcopies by airmail from the UK but these would not yet have made the trip.

By all means send the DS-3032 by email but send a hardcopy as well. It worked for me and may take some time off your visa journey.

My emailed DS3032 was finally accepted yesterday and the IV bill was payable this morning. This means that it took 15 days for them to process my email versus the 4-5 days they are taking with snail mail.

Finally we are moving again!!

Nice one PTROBER. Funnily enough we had the confirmation emails yesterday evening that our DS-3032 emails had been read.

That was a few hours after the despatch of our DS-230..!

So your estimations are correct, currently the snail mail is much faster than email by about 10 days.

Let's hope we see some of the others progressing in the next few days. It has been a long summer.
