OK so we got Rosies AP letters (2), we got her EAD card (THANK GOD).

But for her AOS Green Card we are in "Who is going to process her Green Card HELL" (laughing)

At least we are together and None of this matters as long as sooner or later it is done.

To explain this we sent out I-485 forms to Chicago which most of us do.

It got transferred to LEE SUMMIT Missouri for processing.

We Got a BIO interview on July 11th or so.

One about July 15th we recieved a letter that they TRANSFERRED it to California for processing Due to OVER LOAD at LEE SUMMIT MO.

Guess what ? It is now being transferred back to LEE SUMMIT Missouri.

SO EACH TIME THIS HAPPENS THE TIME STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN AND WE DON'T GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE.

RATHER WE GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE.

So Our soonest date would be sometime in December 2009 or January 2010 for her Green Card.

I THINK they do this so that the time for processing starts all over again and they don't run past the 4 months time frame to complete the application.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ????

Just because you've been transferred doesn't mean you've been put back to the end of the queue.

Normally, when a case is transferred to California (CSC), it's subsequently approved there, without need for an interview. However, if CSC sent it back to the NBC then you can probably assume that you're going to be called for interview, probably fairly shortly so it might be wise to start gathering documents you might need. Did you have any RFEs during all this? They can hold you up but being transferred (even twice) shouldn't...

 OP start preparing for your interview. Plenty of AOS applications go to CSC and are not interviewed. They must have determined they want an interview so they sent it back to NBC to forward to the local office.
