hi guys :)

a couple of weeks ago my fiancee had his medical (i was there for moral support).

everything seemed to go alright and 48 hours later he got a box with his x-rays, immunizations and a sealed letter for the consulate.

does this mean everything was all okay- his blood tests, x-rays, everything...? how do you know if you've "passed"? i dont want to get to the consulate and hear that we are being denied for a medical reason!!!

06.25.10 - biometrics appt

07.02.10 - emailed that our case is moved to CSC!

07.14.10 - touched

07.21.10 - touched

08.03.10 - approved for EAD

08.05.10 - uscis mailed out EAD

08.09.10 - EAD received!

01.05.11 - a ###### RFE over 6 ###### months after the fact

02.01.11 - touched

02.14.11 - APPROVED (finally)!

02.25.11 - received green card in the mail

DONE WITH USCIS FOR 2 YEARS!

sounds like its all fine, if something was wrong they would have told him.

If it helps at all, I was told when I picked up my results that if there were any problems, they would've been required to let me know about it.

09/11/09 - POE (Alexandria Bay, NY)

09/28/09 - Received Permanent Resident card

06/28/11 - Sent 1-751 to VSC

07/29/11 - Biometrics appointment (OKC)

01/20/12 - I-751 approved!

My xray thing is open and the letter says my lungs look A-OK. I didn't open the other envelope tho. I'm sure if your fiance had and STD they would tell them so he can get treated. That's the only thing I would be worried about.

06/08/2012 - Received NOA1 for ROC (Dated 06/04/2012)

yes, if there is a problem they tell you when you pick up the results in case you need to get medical treatment or more tests done, etc. Sounds like you're fine.

When I had my medical the doctor said "everything is fine, you're good to go" of course I did ask how things were looking.

09/20/2006 - Sent I-129F

09/22/2006 - Received at NSC
09/28/2006 - NOA-1 (1-797C date )

10/02/2006 - Cheque cashed

10/02/2006 - NOA 1 (I-797C recieved in the mail)

12/08/2006 - NOA-2 in 79 days

12/13/2006 - NOA-2 hard copy recieved

12/26/2006 - Package recieved by NVC

12/30/2006 - Received by Montreal

01/22/2007 - Received Packet 3

04/16/2007 - Returned Packet 3

08/02/2007 - Received medical documentation

08/07/2007 - Received Interview date Aug. 9th

08/09/2007 - Received I-601 and 212 (not approved yet)

02/17/2008 - I-601 approved 212 abandoned

06/2?/2009 - New medical and passport and doc sent to Mtl

07/22/2009 - Recieved request for DS-221 and notarized letter of intent

07/31/2009 - Montreal recieves thier final requested doc.

09/01/2009 - Visa approved and mail out today

I remember you asked this in another forum a few weeks ago. The medical forms are in a sealed envelope because they're for the Consulate. If you have any questions or think something might be amiss, then call the Medical Clinic back and ask them if everything is okay. I'm sure if there was anything they had concerns about they'd be talking to you about them beforehand.
