Question about luggage and POE

So, we go through the visitors line together, then they will escort her to the interview room. While they are interviewing her, I go get our luggage and clear it through customs or wait for her before clearing it through customs?

Wait... If I remember she will be off to the right just before customs...

So after her interview then we go through customs. Right?

customs is just a couple of folks sitting at the end of a hallway collecting the form you fill out on the plane.. hand them the card and walk down the hall and then a lady will tell you which conveyor on the right to take the luggage to.. then over to the left to wait in another screening line... you know the same ####### you had to do in seoul.. checking for water and cuticle clippers... then its down an escalator to the train to go to your departure terminal for fla... I cant remember which terminal it is... so if you dont know which terminal, ask the lady sitting at the desk on the right at the top of the escalator before you go down and she can look it up on her computer...

Thanks for the info; Just wanted to prepare for POE, so we don't waste any time in a large airport like Atlanta and having only 2hours between flights.

Go to immigration together and they will get you done and then take her to get her stuff completed... they should be able to get you through POE pretty fast as long as there are not a bunch of international flights coming in at same time... wait with her until she gets through then go downstairs to get the luggage and go through customs etc. You should have no problems.... be sure that you have your customs/immigration form filled out before you land and move quick from the plane to immigration to try to get ahead of the others... that could save you a bunch of time.

thanks again for the great info. We should get there around lunch time, hopefully not a lot of international flights; I'll make sure we dash off the plane as soon as it stops, knocking people over if we have to. Hehehe
