Hello fellow vj members,

I filed my I-751 in July '09 and had my biometrics appointment last August 12.My question is do i have an interview like in my AOS application 2 years ago?

If yes... how soon would i be interviewed or are they gonna send me a letter for interview? I did not hear anything from USCIS after my biometrics? is this normal?

Thanks for any ideas.

Most people removing conditions don't get an interview .

If you are in VSC it normally will take 10 months+

CSC 3 or 4 months

Will you have an interview -- depends on how strong your waiver or joint application is. There is no golden formula!

When will you get your interview -- If there is one allocated by the service center it could be anywhere from 6 months to a year after biometrics. The local office should have a date to accommodate you.

A letter will well in advance will give you details about ur interview, there is no need to fret so early. Its just 2 months since you have filed, its nothing abnormal, people wait for more than a year sometimes.

Yes again, if there is an interview it depends on the interviewing IO. You may have an easy time, you may have a tough time. Tell the truth thats all.

Hey, what 1 year! :wow:VSC is moving much faster now. Aren't you guys reading the topics? VSC has 4 month approvals now. If your case is strong most likely you will not have an interview. Even If your case is fine they do it randomly for quality purposes.

I think one year is a very cautious estimate looking at the fastest waiver and slowest waiver after an interview. Yes, we all do read forums. Change your outlook to a broader one, don't be all obsessed with quick CSC / VSC 4 month joint petition approvals. Do a little more reading. ;) Also understand that the OP wanted an estimate IF the file is pulled for an interview. And in that case 1 year is a fair estimate IMHO. Sorry to shock you. :)
