:star:You must have asked yourself once what if she might just use you to obtain a GC or get you to send her $$$ but you still gave it a shot.

What's with her after all that you've become so fond of her and the process of bringing her to the States stirs excitement, frustration, and anticipation?

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

I agree with Jasman0717. It never crossed my mind, not for a second. My fiance had and always has been upfront , loving, sincere and honest. In two and half years has never asked for a dime nor has she ever inquired about how long it will take to get her GC.

The answer is NO! Why, are you doubtful about your fiancee? Please answer your own question, bubba.

In the very very beginning stages it crossed my mind, but after I got to know Ana, its the farthest thing from my mind. I know that its not her intention. Like the others said, I love her with all my heart and I trust her 100%. You can be screwed over by anyone whether they are from your country or are immigrating here. The point is that you need to get to know your SO really well before making this sort of comitment. This goes for any marriage. Whether you're marrying locally or from another country.

For the people that say it never crossed their minds.... they must not of talked to any of their friends about their fiance.

Most of my friends are just happy for me.. but there are a bunch that try to warn you about women that try to get out of their countries.

So, of course, you have to consider it in the least..

In the end, you will know your love's intentions, in which case... I would assume that 99% of the feelings of filipina is genuine.

The original poster asked what is with her that has made you so fond of her?

When I heard that question, i was just thinking in general...

If a woman here met a guy that was a really nice guy... acted like an average joe..

on top of that, he was a millionaire and was not a jerk and all that jazz...

Then, it is really easy for that woman to fall head over heels.

I don't want it to sound like it's all about money.. but there definitely is a sense of security for someone living in a third world country to meet and marry someone that can provide a better life for them and their future children.

So when a guy meets anyone... and i mean anyone from anywhere... that shows him real genuine unconditional love that could last forever.... Then that love is what makes you so fond of your fiance.

I know few VJ are going to jump on me......

Most will not answer honestly....because they may get in real trouble with current fiance or wife...so they have to paint a rosey picture...or they just lucky (cant blame them)

but honestly in the beginning... i was guard...for 2 main reason

1. Divorced already once....burned already...did not wanted to get burned again....

2. Unfortunately, others girls I meet from RP on the Internet before my current one...were scammers and one was a even a TRANSVESTITE.....that was the funniest part of all...as I played along sending them FAKE Western Union number...still LMAO on some stories..when I think about that...

Now after 3 years relationship...I do not doubt my fiance even for a second....we both had our share difficulties but that is what relationships are all about...

Am I perfect.....Absolutely not...

is she perfect....no

But this is the best relationship that ever happen in my entire life.....

I hope that answer some of your questions...

Cheers...
