I-130 for mom

i just sent my I-130 application for my mom. i checked my bank they cashed my check already so i am expecting NOA 1 soon. what else will i need to prepare while waiting? like NVC paperworks? and also where can i add my email address so they can send me updated through email. thanks again for all your help

When you get the NOA1, you can go to the USCIS website and put the receipt number in to check status. I believe it then gives you the option to register to receive email notifications.

I don't really have an answer to the first part of your question, but the guides may be helpful.
