Hi All,

Congrats on a very informative forum. Topic I do not think I have seen.

I am due to marry my american fiance imminently. I am from the UK have always worked (mechanic) and owned my own home etc. My partner has always worked under the table!. She does not have the requisite support documents. Within the details it does state that I can submit details of my assets.

Does anybody have any experience of this.

Many thanks

I think you can only supply details of your assets if you self-sponsor, but I think your partner still also has to supply their details.

Good luck, after what has just happened to us and we were are totally ' above the table' - you may well need it. (See my post USCIS Customer Service Center and why we got our RFE on I-864)
