hi all, i was just wondering how long does it usually takes till your case hit to the embassy? also, how would i know when was the exact date that our case has been completed aside from calling NVC? we submitted my ds230 on july 10th (sent to NVC via mail) and NVC emailed us the appoinment letter stating that our case have been forwarded to manila consulate with the date of our interview which is scheduled for the last week of september 2009 at 6:30 am.

is it normal to have a almost 2 months waiting period till your actual date of interview given by nvc? we have not try call embassy yet to see if we can reschedule my interview for an earlier one. can we?

anyway, i was just curious to know how many weeks the usual are for the interview that NVC sends to each applicant coz ours seems to be forever.

thanks all for giving some times to read this....any response would be greatly appreciated.

i dont think u can do it earlier interview date , but u can do it later than NVC assign date.

about 6 to 8 weeks

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
