Hello Everyone! NVC Completed our Case this week on 8/4 yay! so still waiting for interview date and letter. We're thinking about the Medical a lot now and had some Q's about Medical for the CR-1

I'm here in Pinas now with my wife. Can we just show up at St. Lukes and get the Medical over or do they need to see our appointment letter?

Is it better to wait for the appt. so we dont get the medical done too early?

My wife doesn't have any shot records. Is she going to be a pin cushon for a day and do they take care of all that during the medical or send us on another excursion for the sots?

Anyways Im just here reading posts about the medical and not finding exactly what we need so I thought I would ask.

Thanks and Good luck to everyone!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

only one 2x2 photo is needed and the doctor would tell you how many shots you will be given.

as long as you have your case number or noa2, you can show up at st lukes , no appointment needed. a doctor will determine what vaccines she needs. its always good to do the medical as early as possible.

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

Go to the medical AFTER 12 noon. You'll beat the morning rush. If you, the US citizen petition goes with the bene I imagine she could get in with a copy of the NOA2. Worth a try.

Sooner she does the medical the better in case TB 8 week sputum test come into play.
