Circuit City

Weird.

Not so weird. The website is owned by Systemax, a big corporate conglmerate reseller that is selling all the CC junk that you didn't rush in and buy during the firesale. Ultimately, the leftover leftovers from the leftovers will show up at a 99cent store near you....

Cheerios!

Weird.

Apparently so!

On May 19, 2009, Systemax Inc. purchased the Circuit City brand and website. Systemax Inc. has been in business since 1949. Systemax Inc. is a leading multi-channel retailer of computers, electronics, and industrial products in North America and Europe. Systemax Inc. is a publicly traded company on the NYSE under the symbol SYX.

Cool!

So, is it safe to purchase there? The prices are too good to be true, based on a quick market analysis.

Caveat emptor, Bro.

Excellent point....Therefore, I will shop elsewhere, given my aversion to risk.
