Hi All,

:help::help::help:

My husband is a Ghanaian citizen who works and currently resides outside Ghana. He is currently in Cyprus right now playing football.

When it comes time for him do his medical exam for the K3 visa, can he do the medical exam in Cyprus or will it have to be in Ghana, which means he will have to fly home just to do the medical examination?

My other question once he gets the medical examination done, is he give the results to give to embassy or is it sent straight to the embassy?

Thank you in advance for all your help with my inquiries. :innocent:

Wherever he is currently living should be on the petition and should be where his paperwork is sent. If you put that he is living in Ghana, then it will go to that embassy and yes, he will have to do everything there. However, if he is living elsewhere then all the medical stuff will be done there. After the petition is approved and sent to the embassy, then the embassy will send him his paperwork which will include where he needs to have his medicals done.

There are many people who are citizens of one country, but living in another country who have their visa processed through the third country (where they are currently living).

Others may have more first hand knowledge with that than me.

Thanks for ur input Kanyiri,

I've been told that since my husband and i married in Ghana that I may need to everything in Ghana..It would be great if I could do everything thru Cyprus as that embassy moves very quickly and are quite responsive..I guess I will just have to find out for sure from the US embassy when they notify us.... :unsure:
