I hope so. I also have to be told what to do and held accountable, which is where the weigh ins come in...

u go acrow!!!! weight watchers worked wonders for my mom!!! will u tailor all the meals to ur diet or just eat differently than ur family.. good luck!

Both, I think. I'l eat seperately for most meals but for special dinners I'll just watch my portion size. I'm sure I can do it...I think thirty ponds is doable

My sister has been doing the flat belly diet - One of the things is you have to drink something called Sassy Water - she said it's definitely acting as a diuretic and helping - here's the recipe -

Sassy Water

2 liters water (about 8 cups)

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced

1 medium lemon, thinly sliced

12 small spearmint leaves.

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight. Drink the entire pitcher by the end of each day.

Sounds tasty actually!

wow those google sense ads are good

now they showing all kinds of ads for weight loss

Good to see you back Bunz!

 I was the same weight a few years ago but it feels different this time...body changes the older you get. Not fun

Philly - I looked for our Fluffy group on Sparkpeople today...it was gone. Maybe we'll start a new one and actually use it this time.

Finesse - I don't think my hubby would go back to JA now...his life is pretty good here. It wasn't bad in JA either. But his first year or two he said he would definitely go back.

Sus - I'm going to try to Sassy Water...I have everything but spearmint leaves. Does she eat during the day?

Nat - how do you cook salmon? I'm tried of eating it the same way. I love your recipes.

I had a spicy salmon cake from the organic store earlier this week. It was scrumptious. But I've never made salmon cakes.

Last few times I made it, I rubbed the salmon with a citrus dill rub (40 cents at Kroger) & topped it with some sliced red/yellow bell peppers & onions & fresh basil. I wrapped the fish & veggies in foil & baked til done. A lemon dill butter tastes great on top: melt a small amount of butter, add a few drops of lemon juice & some dill weed (pickle juice could probably suffice). Refrigerate until the butter gets solid again. Serve a pat on top of the salmon.
